BRIEF CALEIDOSCOPE OF HOTEL PAPANDAYAN

The name Hotel Papandayan was taken from the name of the street located in front of Hotel Papandayan's main building; Jalan Papandayan known today as Jalan Gatot Subroto. Hotel Papandayan was opened to public on 28th of March 1989 for the first time. A Singapore-based hotel management institution, named Fairmonth Internatioal Hotels, managed it.

On January 30th, 1990, a classification committee from DEPARPOSTEL announced Hotel Papandayan as four-star hotel. During those previous period, Papandayan has 245 rooms with facilities like: tennis court, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, fitness center, conference room, laundry, restaurant, bar, and other International-rated facilities.

Since before early 1996, Hotel Papandayan had several changes in ownership, which includes; PT. Yasmin Interbuana (1989-1991), PT. Kanindo (1991-1992), PT. Detta Marina (1992-1996), PT. Citra Nusa Bangun Persada (Media Group) from 1996 to now.
